BMS has three technical workshops in Botswana which are based
in Gaborone, Francistown and Maun. The workshops have fully trained staff with
the technical capacity to install, network and train users on machines supplied
by BMS. Once the machine has been installed mobile technicians
provide support, service, maintain and repair the products at the client’s
premises.
Regular refresher and update courses are conducted in
Botswana and at our supplier’s premises. Our technical staff ensure a quick
response time through a computerised fault call log-in system. All service and
repair work carried out holds a quality assurance guarantee of three months.
Strategic stocks of essential, high-usage consumables and spares are held at appropriate levels for maximum support and minimisation of downtime. In cases of emergency arising out of unusual breakdowns, a spares support service from the supplier is available.
All our suppliers guarantee a minimum of five years spares
availability for any machine installed in addition to the usual minimum six
months manufacturers’ warranty. BMS ordinarily extends the period of these
machines’ warrantees, where only BMS recommended and supplied, consumables and
spares are used.
